Blues + Blacks harmonious in this Kitchen Remodel

A Glam Kitchen Remodel

Client: Private Residence
Location: Cheverly, MD
Completed in: 2021
Project overview: Interior Design, FF+E Specification & Procurement, Space Planning, Custom Design, Lighting Design, Millwork Design

  • Our client’s cry for help was music to our ears! This dated kitchen needed a remodel that measured up to the rest of the charming home.

The kitchen remodel began with removal of both a partial and half wall separating the kitchen from the dining and living rooms. This dramatically opened the home for entertaining that our client so desired.

We specified new lighting, as well as classic brass fixtures and hardware for unexpected pops of bling. The mix of glass and brass adds a modish yet elegant touch for a swanky update.

The warmth of deep blue cabinets works well set against the clean black and white tile backsplash. Our design team created a timeless and chic kitchen our client loves and will enjoy forever.

But don’t take our word, hear it from the client.

“I bought a house knowing I wanted to redo the kitchen, but I didn’t know how best to make it a focal point. TOBE DesignGroup spent time at my home and their design really made the house feel like mine. They incorporated colors to complement the rest of the house [keeping] my personal style. I fell in love with [it] from concept to finish. I cannot wait for them to redesign my bathroom next!” —Homeowner

Fun fact: Tarek El Moussa showed this exact tile in his HGTV show “Flipping 101”. When surveyed, our audience preferred our backsplash design to that of Tarek’s—check out our Instagram post here and tell us which you like best!

Stay tuned for more updates to this refreshing home.

I want people to feel love when they walk in. I want them to feel comfortable enough to sit and use the space.
